How to access and play your games with the ea app - EA Help
When you accept the invitation, the EA app download process will begin. Origin will be uninstalled automatically - this ensures you will not experience any conflicts or errors related to having both clients installed on your PC simultaneously. Once you complete the update process, your games and content will be ready for play.

If you have an active EA Play subscription, you can download the game directly from the console store. Once you have found the correct game, you will then see an EA Play icon, which also indicates that the free download is available via EA Play.
Hi @EA_rephii Thanks for that. I am still waiting for the early release download button to show and it is less than a couple of days to go till the early access starts. Any idea when we might be able to download the early access for Ps4 users?
I see that EA Desktop has some controls to set a download speed limit, but they are locked to Unlimited with the mouse cursor just turning into a "nope" cursor when hovering on them. It would be great to be able to set the limits so that I can safely do these huge downloads in the background while for example watching streaming videos and not have the EA download take up all the bandwidth.
Hey @iyus1the best thing to do in a situation such as this may be to download and update your games when others aren't using the internet. I find that it's best to do the brunt of my downloading early in the morning or later at night so as to ensure that no one else's connection is affected by my downloading games.
I mean or EA could just put the download restriction setting back in, that was in Origin so people can download stuff however they want instead of having to work around other peoples schedules. My connection isn't the fastest ever and I like to be able to set my downloads to only use half or so of my bandwidth. So perhaps I can play something else, or watch a show while it downloads.
What is happening exactly?Mass Effect 1 (2007, not the Legendary Edition) will not download from the EA app on PC (Windows 11). When attempting to download it, the Download Options window will appear extremely briefly as it tries to calculate disk space, but will then show the error message listed above. When exactly does the problem occur? / Where exactly does the problem occur? It happens anytime I try to download the game on the EA app. This has worked fine on Origin, but when I had to use the EA app after doing a reinstall of Windows, this started to happen. No other game on my account has this error (including both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, both of which are also not the Legendary Editions). I have tried the troubleshooting steps as outlined here and here, done a clean boot of Windows, did an clean install of Windows and even tried downloading from a different location entirely, but the issue still persists.I have contacted EA support multiple times using their email, chat and phone options. Most suggested me to try the troubleshooting options from the articles listed previously. One agent directed me to an Origin download link to try using that instead. However, Origin will prompt that I must use the EA app and gives me no other options, so I can no longer go back to Origin to download the game again. After discussing the issue with an agent over the phone, they suggested I post this issue on EA Answers for support. Previous agents said that this would be looked in to and didn't suggest this option, as I assumed it would be fixed. However, this has been going on for well over a month and I have no had any correspondence suggesting this is actually being corrected. If anyone can help me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it. I attached a dxdiag report, as well.
@FaceCombatHi there, i recently had this issue except with Mass Effect 3 refusing to even start downloading. The advice i seen was to download Origin app, and install Mass Effect that way, and this worked for me, and it shows up as playable in the EAplay app now. Then you're apparently supposed to close the Origin app and use the EAplay app to play it.

I have reached out to tech support several times and I get the same run-around. I can download AND PLAY ALL my EA games THROUGH the EA app EXCEPT ME1. It failes with some generic message about "our servers failed, give us a short time and try again"
I have reviewed your email and came to know that you have issue with your unable to download your game. You do not need to worry, I'll surely do my best to help you with my assistance.
Bought it... uninstalled EA App.. Reinstalled it on a different drive, different location that is not c:\program files.. (this is all the stuff EA support asked me to do.. yea. including rebuying it) and I cannot download it.
I had to reinstall the game to install the patch due to low disk space for an additional 130gb I guess. I'm about 25% done with originally 30mb/s but the past 20 minutes has hovered at about 12kb/s with spikes to 11b/s then it drops back to 12kb. Is this just the game patching itself along with the installation or is this a server wide download speed issue?
The Daring Lifestyle Sims 4 bundle is on the Epic Games Store for free until May 18. This bundle includes the Jungle Adventure game pack, the Luxury Party stuff pack, and the Fashion Street kit. To get it players need to download the Epic Games Launcher, create an Epic Games account, and then "buy the game" on the Epic Games Store. It's free, but gamers need to add it to their carts and checkout like they would with any other purchase. Once acquired, the Daring Lifestyle bundle will appear in their Library.
To install the three Sims 4 packs, gamers have to select The Sims 4 game on the EA App Library, and then press the Manage Add-Ons option to download them. The packs will start downloading and once it's finished, players will get access to them whenever they open The Sims 4.
GOG Galaxy aims to be a one-stop shop for all your game libraries, but it also allows you to download and install games from GOG.com. You can change where games are installed, but there is no built-in button to move downloaded games to a new folder.
Click the gear icon in the top-left corner and open Settings > Installing, updating and select Game installation folder. Choose your preferred location and future games will be saved here. We can also manipulate this feature to move downloaded games to a new location.
Click on the game again to install it, and when it asks you where you want it installed, choose the folder where you copied the game files (in our example, D:\Games\GOG). It will begin installing the game, realize the files are already there, and the installation will complete very quickly, without re-downloading the files a second time.
EA has phased out the Origin Launcher in favor of its new EA app. While the new service promises faster download speeds, updates and the ability to communicate with friends across different platforms, EA is missing Origin's extremely useful Move Games option to let you transfer game files within the client.
After this is done, you will need to open Settings > Download in the EA app and change the install directory in the settings. Click Edit next to Install location and choose your new destination. When you download a game, you will be prompted to locate the game files and tell the client the new folder destination.
Click the three dots next to the game, and choose Uninstall to remove the original game file. Return to the game in your library and re-install it, choosing the preferred destination. Allow the download to start, then cancel the installation.
EA Games first released The Sims 4 for Windows. The game launched in both disc and digital-only formats in 2014. However, many things have changed since then. To get The Sims 4, you must download the game using either Steam or the EA app.
For organizations anticipating large shared repositories, trial Enterprise Architect using a DBMS model repository. Depending in your preferred DBMS, you can download and run your preferred DBMS script from DBMS Based Repositories.
