Open the app on your device.
Find the song, album, playlist, or video that you want to download.
Tap the More button (three dots) next to the item.
Tap Add to Library if the item is not already in your library.
Tap the Download button (cloud with a down arrow) to start downloading the item.
You can also tap and hold the item and then drag it to the Download button at the bottom of the screen.
You can check the progress of your downloads by tapping the Library tab and then tapping Downloaded Music. You can also see a download icon next to the items that are downloaded or downloading.
To play your downloaded music offline, you can either turn on Airplane Mode or go to Settings > Music and toggle on Offline Mode.
On Your Mac or PC
To download music from Apple Music on your Mac or PC, you need to update iTunes to the latest version. To update iTunes:
Open iTunes on your computer.
If you're using a Mac, go to iTunes > Check for Updates. If you're using a PC, go to Help > Check for Updates.
Follow the prompts to install the latest version of iTunes.
To download music from Apple Music on your Mac or PC:
Open iTunes on your computer and sign in with your Apple ID and password.

To play your downloaded music offline, you can either disconnect from the internet or go to iTunes > > General and check the box next to Offline Mode.
How to Manage Your Downloads on Apple Music
Once you have downloaded music from Apple Music, you may want to manage your downloads to free up some space or sync them across your devices. Here are some tips on how to do that:
To view your downloaded music, go to the Library tab and tap or click Downloaded Music. You can also sort your music by Downloaded in the Browse or Search tabs.
To delete your downloaded music, tap or click the More button (three dots) next to the item and then tap or click Delete from Library. You can also swipe left on the item and tap or click the Delete button (trash can). This will remove the item from your library and your device.
To sync your downloaded music across your devices, make sure you have enabled iCloud Music Library on all your devices and signed in with the same Apple ID. You can also use iTunes Match to sync your music that's not from Apple Music.
If you need more storage space for your downloads, you can also change the download quality of your music. To do that, go to Settings > Music > and choose between High Quality, Lossless, or High-Resolution Lossless. Higher quality means more data and storage space, while lower quality means less data and storage space.
